Educational Excursion

An educational tour was organized on 19.9.2024 to Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agriculture University, Rau Pusa for classes VI to XII. It was a day long trip. The students were made aware of the glorious past of the place. They also saw the historical exhibit gallery. From their they were taken to the conference room in Sugarcane Research Institute where an eminent scientist and Asst. Prof. Sri Balwant Kumar gave a thorough look into the world of agriculture . Children’s queries were duly answered.

Post lunch, the students were taken to the main building of the University where the Vice Chancellor Sir not only greeted the students but also advised to develop a scientific approach to study. The students were taken to soil testing laboratory. It was a very interesting venture. At last, the students visited Bio-diversity Park where they were thrilled to see different types of plants. Overall it was a very useful and informative programme.
